According to Sky Sports news, West Ham United made an offer for St Etienne defender Fofana.
The report claimed that West Ham United made an offer of 25 million euros and added an additional bonus clause of 11 million.
Leicester City and other teams are also interested in signing Fofana, but West Ham United's current offer seems to be the highest.
Fofana has informed Saint-Etienne coach Pierre that he wants to leave the team and land in the Premier League.
Earlier, West Ham United had bought Burnley defender Tarkovsky, but their offer was rejected. Tarkovsky was also a signing target for Leicester City.
